This is an Ivory Fantasy granite worktop we have installed in Ryton on Dunsmore Coventry. We have doubled it up to 60mm thick and ogee profiled the edges, the entire island is curved all the way around, the 2 pieces have to follow each other perfectly around the radius this is only possible with the type of machinery we use here at Planet Granite, we have also sealed this particular top with ‘dry treat’, a sealing product that gives the material 15 years guarantee against staining, it’s only lighter colour granites like Ivory Fantasy where sealing is necessary as the darker colours are generally non porous and so will not absorb a sealing product.
